Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Piercer (ranked 1930 p4p, 2012 weight class) and Bradley Rainey (ranked 251 p4p, 257 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Piercer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bradley Rainey!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rainey misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Piercer to counter with a crisp jab.

Piercer throws a lazy uppercut
and Piercer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rainey moves forwards but Piercer connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Piercer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Piercer wants to land a leg kick but Rainey is out of range.
Rainey doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

and Piercer counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
We've been told by Piercer's head coaches at BronkĀ“s GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Piercer.
Rainey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Piercer cracks Rainey with a good jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rainey ducks under a wild hook from Piercer.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rainey. Piercer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rainey moves away from the strike by Piercer.
And Rainey tries to counter it with a takedown but Piercer pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Piercer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rainey misses with a lunging right hand
and Piercer counters with a straight right hand.
Rainey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rainey scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Piercer wants to control but Rainey is keeping busy.

Piercer is looking for a sweep. Rainey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rainey circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Piercer drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rainey follows Piercer to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
