Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sugawara Ichirou! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mohammed Mohammed! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mohammed on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Mohammed Mohammed has been cut. Ichirou feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mohammed sprawling to the canvas! Mohammed rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ichirou finish him?!
Mohammed is rocked! Ichirou has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gold Samurai's Gym in the buildup to the fight. Ichirou ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Mohammed's jaw. Mohammed's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Ichirou does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sugawara Ichirou!
