Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ty Wong (ranked 1336 p4p, 1534 weight class) and John Masterson (ranked 126 p4p, 139 weight class). The key to victory for Ty Wong has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ty Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Masterson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masterson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Masterson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Horrible takedown attempt by Masterson or perhaps it was just good defense by Wong, which made it look bad.
Masterson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ty Wong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Masterson.
Masterson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wong tries to avoid it but Masterson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wong to the ground. Wong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wong keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
No luck for Masterson with that takedown attempt.
Wong tries to counter with a takedown but Masterson is quick to defend against it.
Wong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wong wants it to stay on the feet.

A punch lands to the side of Masterson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Wong seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Masterson tries to sprawl but Wong drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Masterson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wong pulls his head out easily.

Masterson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Wong is surviving well by controlling Masterson's body position as best he can.
Wong tries to lock up and control but Masterson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Masterson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wong has worked his arm free - good work by Wong!
Masterson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wong has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Masterson but great work by Wong.

Wong has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Masterson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Wong has tightened it up now! Masterson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
