Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Case (ranked 2504 p4p, 5000 weight class) and Bruno Adams (ranked 317 p4p, 485 weight class). Bruno Adams will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Case feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Adams escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Case gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Case wants to control from the top but Adams keeps moving.

Adams is looking for a triangle but Case pushes his legs off easily.
Adams looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Case looking to pass the guard.
Adams working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Case.

Adams has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Case is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Adams .

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Case in particular looking to stall.
Case looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Adams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Adams is looking to cinch up a triangle. Case throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Adams 's body to avoid the submission. Adams has instead reached around Case's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Adams arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
