Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Kogos (ranked 581 p4p, 743 weight class) and Charles Tucker (ranked 92 p4p, 115 weight class). Tucker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Faith of The Heart. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Kogos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Tucker! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kogos shoots in but Tucker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Tucker takes a swing at Kogos's ribcage but misses. Tucker throws a hook but Kogos avoids it easily. Tucker throws a jab when Kogos was well out of range. Tucker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Tucker throws out a loose jab but Kogos uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tucker scores with a punch to the head.
 It looks like Paulo Kogos has been cut. A solid leg kick lands there for Tucker.
Kogos throws a hook but Tucker avoids it easily. We've been told by Kogos's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kogos gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Tucker misses with a body shot.
Kogos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tucker circles away. Kogos fails with a takedown attempt. Despite the aggression on Tucker's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Kogos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice defenses there by Kogos. Tucker has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Tucker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kogos was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kogos drops his hands momentarily and Tucker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Charles Tucker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kogos throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Tucker dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Charles Tucker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tucker misses with a straight right. Kogos was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kogos tries to close the distance and clinch but Tucker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tucker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tucker throws a leg kick which misses Kogos's front leg but catches the back leg as Kogos tries to avoid it. Kogos blocks a jab. Kogos takes a body punch but keeps moving.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker misses with a left hand and Kogos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A chopping leg kick lands by Tucker. Tucker lands with a shot to the body. Tucker misses with a low kick.
Tucker lands a big head kick that sends Kogos tumbling to the mat! Tucker takes a step backwards and waves Kogos back to his feet - he wants the finish!
 Kogos is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tucker fakes the body blow, causing Kogos to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Kogos goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
