Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jet Gunner (ranked 875 p4p, 1830 weight class) and Vadius Highwind (ranked 130 p4p, 293 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jet Gunner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vadius Highwind! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Highwind. Highwind lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gunner backs up against the cage.
It looks like Jet Gunner has been cut. Gunner lands with a kick to the temple. Highwind shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Gunner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Highwind takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Gunner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Highwind swats him away and circles back towards the center. A head kick from Gunner lands but Highwind takes it in his stride. Highwind throws out a loose jab but Gunner uses good head movement to avoid it. Gunner jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jet Gunner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! No joy there for Highwind, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gunner wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. A punch lands to the side of Highwind 's head but he takes it in his stride. Highwind jabs Gunner right on the nose. Gunner blinks but takes it well. Gunner lands with a good body shot. Highwind works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. We've been informed that Highwind has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Gunner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Highwind lands a left and a right that send Gunner crashing to the mat, dazed. Highwind thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gunner is rocked! Highwind ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Gunner's jaw. Gunner's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Highwind does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vadius Highwind!
