Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Lesnar ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gordon Nesbitt! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nesbitt looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but Nesbitt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lesnar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. It seemed like Nesbitt was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Lesnar . That's going to take a lot out of him. Lesnar scores with a takedown into Nesbitt's guard. Lesnar lands a couple of digs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar passes Nesbitt's left leg - he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lesnar connects with a nice short shot to Nesbitt's temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar wants to pass to mount but Nesbitt is defending the position. Lesnar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The referee warns Nesbitt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lesnar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nesbitt is in a horrible position here. Lesnar smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Nesbitt defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lesnar . Lesnar scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Lesnar controlling the position easily from mount. Lesnar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is in the full mount, landing strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lesnar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nesbitt's face.
Lesnar lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Nesbitt! Lesnar sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Nesbitt and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Frank Lesnar !
