Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zamir Al Din (ranked 1711 p4p, 1851 weight class) and Cocaine Mitch (ranked 277 p4p, 302 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Zamir Al Din has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Zamir Al Din seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zamir Al Din! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cocaine Mitch! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitch throws a leg kick which misses Al Din's front leg but catches the back leg as Al Din tries to avoid it. A good leg kick by Mitch. Al Din lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Cocaine Mitch has been cut. Al Din moves forwards but Mitch connects with a nice, crisp jab. Al Din swings and misses with a shot to the body and Mitch counters with a thumping low kick. Al Din misses with a left hand and Mitch counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Decent striking displayed by Al Din there. Mitch swings for the body but Al Din moves out of range.
It looked like Al Din wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Al Din uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mitch.
Al Din swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Mitch darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Al Din takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mitch misses with a right hand and Al Din counters with a lovely straight right hand! Mitch lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Al Din scores with a hook. Mitch throws a sloppy head kick and Al Din moves out of range easily. Al Din definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Al Din has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mitch finds it's way round the side to connect with Al Din's head. Mitch attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Mitch throws an off balance right hand
and Al Din counters with a crisp one two that drops Mitch! Al Din thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mitch to his feet! Mitch is in big trouble! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mitch takes a swing at Al Din's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Mitch misses. Mitch lands a really nice looking cross but Al Din seems unphased.
It looks like Zamir Al Din has been cut. Mitch lands a nice looking body kick. Mitch with the inside leg kick. Mitch moves out of range of the strikes. Al Din throws a chopping leg kick but Mitch manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Mitch throws out a powerful jab. Mitch fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Al Din looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitch scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Mitch bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Al Din works Mitch's body with a nice hook. Al Din misses with an uppercut. Mitch saw that one coming. Al Din lands a leg kick that knocks Mitch off balance momentarily. Nice shot by Mitch. Al Din ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mitch moves away. Cocaine Mitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping body kick lands there for Al Din. Mitch lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Al Din at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice cross by Mitch. Mitch has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. This has been an exciting period of action! Mitch tries a head kick but it misses.
Mitch is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Al Din had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Al Din, as that shot connected.
Mitch ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Mitch lands a leg kick that knocks Al Din off balance momentarily. Mitch just misses with a punch to the body.
Mitch swings for the body but Al Din moves out of range.
Al Din moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Cocaine Mitch dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Al Din's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. A low kick from Mitch misses and Al Din cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Al Din pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Al Din checks a low kick from Mitch. Mitch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Al Din manages to avoid it. Al Din goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mitch misses with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mitch throws a lazy uppercut
and Al Din counters with a stiff right hand. Mitch looks to throw the jab but Al Din is out of range. Mitch has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Al Din walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Al Din takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mitch connects with a right hand. Al Din shakes it off. Al Din scores with a kick to the midsection. Al Din uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mitch.
Mitch throws a head kick but Al Din moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Mitch as he connects with a hook. Al Din tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mitch counters with a nice leg kick. Mitch connects with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitch feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Al Dins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Mitch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Al Din was well out of range. Poor timing from Mitch. A little feinted left hand from Al Din on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Mitch missing with a left hand there. Al Din was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Mitch is looking to score with low kicks. Al Din swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Al Din connects with a looping right hand.
That has opened up Cocaine Mitch's cut even more. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mitch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mitch scores with a slapping inside leg kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Al Din crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mitch - the referee stops the clock and Al Din gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mitch. Al Din manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitch scores with a decent looking hook. Mitch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Al Din misses with a jab to the body
and Mitch counters with a straight right hand. Al Din throws a leg kick but Mitch sees it coming and checks it nicely. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Al Din might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Mitch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Al Din needs to keep his hands up - Mitch had a free shot at his head there. Al Din blocks a jab. Al Din seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Al Din looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mitch throws a fast counter high kick but Al Din manages to duck under it in time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Mitch lands an impressive looking overhand right. Al Din doesn't seem phased though. Cocaine Mitch seems to be getting the better of the standup. Al Din throws a half hearted mid kick. Mitch connects with an inside leg kick. Al Din lands with a thumping leg kick.
Mitch misses with a body kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Nice defenses there by Al Din. Mitch with the inside leg kick. Mitch throws the kick towards the body but Al Din avoids it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Cocaine Mitch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! A low kick lands for Al Din.

Mitch throws a big shot that misses. Al Din takes a shot right to the bread basket. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mitch scores with a nice right hand.

Al Din throws a half hearted mid kick. Al Din is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitch motions for Al Din to come forward. Mitch throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Mitch throws a leg kick but Al Din checks it. Al Din moves forwards but Mitch connects with a nice, crisp jab. Mitch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Al Din blocks a jab. Al Din fires out a quick counter leg kick but Mitch just manages to avoid it. Mitch misses with a body kick. Al Din's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mitch connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Al Din scrambles back to his feet. Zamir Al Din has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Al Din.
Mitch scores with a hook. Mitch throws a body shot but no joy. Mitch throws a quick inside leg kick. Mitch lands a nice hook to Al Din's body. Al Din takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Mitch swings for the body but Al Din moves out of range.

Cocaine Mitch is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mitch looks to throw the jab but Al Din is out of range. Al Din was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut there from Mitch. Al Din looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Mitch lands a nice shot that snaps Al Din's head back.
Mitch does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A quick step to the side and Al Din tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Decent striking displayed by Mitch there. A left lands for Mitch. Al Din walks into a jab. Al Din pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mitch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Al Din throws a lazy uppercut
and Mitch counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Al Din on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Mitch swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Al Din throws a quick counter head kick but Mitch was just out of range. Mitch fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Al Din looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Al Din takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Al Din catches Mitch with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Al Din on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Mitch looks to throw the jab but Al Din is out of range. Al Din swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Cocaine Mitch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mitch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
