And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Geordi La Forge!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera avoids the body shot from La Forge.

Cabrera looking to score a takedown here. La Forge is defending well but Cabrera drives through and ends up in La Forge's guard.
We've been hearing that Cabrera has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
La Forge looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cabrera is one step ahead there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now La Forge is on top in guard.

Cabrera is looking for a triangle but La Forge pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
La Forge postures up and lands a big shot to Cabrera's brow.
La Forge tries to free his leg and advance position but Cabrera is retaining full guard.

Cabrera looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! La Forge has picked Cabrera up and slammed him! Cabrera can't keep hold of the triangle and La Forge manages to pass to side control!

Cabrera tries to bench press La Forge off him but La Forge keeps the position.
La Forge creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Cabrera is trying to improve his position.
Cabrera holds on to La Forge's head and controls the position momentarily.
La Forge grinds an elbow into Cabrera's temple.
La Forge lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Cabrera is looking for a sweep.
La Forge cracks Cabrera with a big right hand but Cabrera just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

La Forge tries to advance to mount but Cabrera denies him.

Cabrera is letting La Forge control him for a moment.
La Forge looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
It looks like La Forge might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Cabrera is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
La Forge landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
You can see the frustration on Cabrera's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cabrera gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Cabrera on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Cabrera wants to get back to full guard but La Forge has passed into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Cabrera tries to buck La Forge off but La Forge is having none of it.

La Forge scores with a couple of short elbows.
La Forge looks up at the clock and then as Cabrera takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, La Forge smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
La Forge scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Cabrera is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and La Forge can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

After the fight, Geordi La Forge was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
