Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jai Patel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scooter Ham!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ham.
Ham dodges the punch combination from Patel.
Ham thinks about the counter body kick.
Ham with a nice cross.
Patel misses with a left hand
and Ham counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Patel throws a leg kick but Ham sees it coming and moves out of range.
Ham feints a counter leg kick.
Patel misses with a left hand
and Ham counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ham checks a low kick from Patel.
Patel throws a series of punches but Ham moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ham scores with the left hand. Patel knows he should have avoided that one.
Patel swings widly with a right hand
and Ham counters with a huge left! Patel is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ham isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Patel from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ham!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scooter Ham!
