Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Jomoney (ranked 921 p4p, 537 weight class) and Bradley Rainey (ranked 129 p4p, 76 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Jomoney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bradley Rainey! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jomoney checks the leg kick nicely there.
Jomoney throws a big shot that misses. Decent striking displayed by Jomoney there. Rainey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jomoney. Rainey walks into a left hand. Jomoney dives in and grabs Rainey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rainey pushes down on Jomoney's head and hops out. Rainey takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jomoney thows a left - swing and a miss! Jomoney ducks straight into an uppercut from Rainey and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Jomoney manages to regain guard straight away.
It looks like Ivan Jomoney has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jomoney wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Rainey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rainey wants to stand and escape but instead Jomoney has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Rainey preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rainey keeping moving, preventing Jomoney from controlling successfully. Rainey wants to stand up but Jomoney is controlling him. Jomoney controls from within his opponent's guard. Jomoney stops Rainey from standing up. Jomoney throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jomoney has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jomoney wants to control from the top but Rainey keeps moving. Jomoney working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jomoney wants to control from the top but Rainey keeps moving. Jomoney throwing strikes but missing. Jomoney sitting in guard here, content to control. Jomoney slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Rainey wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jomoney misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jomoney wants to control but Rainey is keeping him busy. Rainey regains half guard there - taking advantage of Jomoney's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jomoney wants to control but Rainey is keeping him busy. Jomoney is taking a breather. Rainey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jomoney frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jomoney working Rainey over with strikes here. Jomoney darts in looking for a takedown but Rainey gets double underhooks and turns Jomoney into the cage. Rainey misses with some punches.

Rainey tries to clinch but Jomoney moves out of range. Jomoney takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bradley Rainey seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jomoney shoots in for a takedown but Rainey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rainey! But no joy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Jomoney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jomoney uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rainey.

Rainey takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jomoney's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jomoney duly obliges. Jomoney misses with an uppercut. Rainey tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Rainey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rainey moves away from the strike by Jomoney. Rainey with the counter takedown but Jomoney avoids it easily. Jomoney misses with a looping left. Rainey looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Jomoney throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rainey sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rainey scores with a hook to the body. Jomoney takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rainey on the wrong end of a nice hook. Jomoney is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rainey can do to turn this around? Jomoney misses with a left hand and Rainey counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jomoney makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rainey avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rainey is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Rainey staying out of range there. Jomoney scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Rainey manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Rainey scores with a nice hook to the head. Jomoney is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rainey gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rainey lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Jomoney tightens his grip and picks Rainey up, before dumping him to the ground. Rainey manages to land in guard. Rainey uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Jomoney loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jomoney wants to pass the guard but Rainey is keeping the position. That was a close second round but I would say that Ivan Jomoney will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ivan Jomoney's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Jomoney shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jomoney is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rainey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rainey doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Jomoney scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jomoney swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rainey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rainey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jomoney is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jomoney misses with the combination.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jomoney is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jomoney accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jomoney distracts Rainey with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rainey is looking for a triangle but Jomoney pushes his legs off easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Jomoney showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jomoney, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
