The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Danga de danga de dang - Stamatis scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Frank Lesnar has been cut.
Lesnar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lesnar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Stamatis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stamatis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lesnar tries to clinch there but Stamatis circles away.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stamatis but Stamatis pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Stamatis lands a big uppercut and Lesnar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lesnar looks OK. Stamatis waves Lesnar back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lesnar dives in for a single leg takedown but Stamatis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Lesnar . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stamatis lands a shoulder strike.
Stamatis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lesnar s head.
Stamatis scores a nice knee to the body.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.

Stamatis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lesnar backwards.
Lesnar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stamatis after a bit of a struggle.

Stamatis will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lesnar up against the cage.
Lesnar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Frank Lesnar 's cut is getting worse.
Stamatis is pressed up against the cage. Lesnar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stamatis down to the mat. Stamatis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Stamatis lands a left and a right that send Lesnar crashing to the mat, dazed. Stamatis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Alexandros Stamatis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stamatis connects with a stiff jab that staggers Lesnar - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

In his post fight interview, Alexandros Stamatis started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
