Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Silva (ranked 3020 p4p, 1850 weight class) and Coyote Wolf (ranked 447 p4p, 299 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Silva seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Wolf ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Wolf tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Wolf.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Alex Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wolf uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Silva has time to react.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wolf.
A solid leg kick lands there for Wolf.
Silva scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wolf doesn't seem bothered though.

Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wolf did well to prevent Silva getting side control.

Wolf looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Wolf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Wolf is trying to escape and Silva transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Wolf is forced to tap! Nice work there by Silva! Very nice indeed!
