Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steven Christie (ranked 1918 p4p, 795 weight class) and Renoa Gracie (ranked 144 p4p, 65 weight class). Christie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amityville. Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Apaga Mas Não Bate. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Renoa Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a body punch but Christie moves out of range.
Christie is looking to counter punch.

Gracie moves forwards but Christie connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Christie scores with a nice right hand.
Gracie scores with a decent looking hook.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.

Christie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Gracie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Christie throws a big shot that misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Christie cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs.
Gracie throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Christie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Christie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Christie lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A jab from Gracie does it's job there.
Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Christie sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Gracie moves into range and clinches up with Christie.
Christie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Gracie has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at GAMMA Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Christie controls the pace.

Gracie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Christie rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Christie is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
