Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quebro Tua Cara (ranked 2442 p4p, 2934 weight class) and Van Peta (ranked 320 p4p, 366 weight class). Peta has chosen O Retrô Ativo - Heróis do Status Quo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua Cara's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tua Cara duly obliges.
Tua Cara misses with a jab, cross combination.
Peta is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Tua Cara looks to land a left hand but Peta moved out of range nicely.

Peta has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Peta counters with a single leg into guard. Tua Cara didn't expect that.

Tua Cara has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Peta is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Peta wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tua Cara has Peta pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Peta is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Tua Cara - that's hurt Peta badly! Oh, another knee lands and Peta is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Peta doesn't seem to be complaining.
