Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vladamir Fedetenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonny Bar!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bar throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Fedetenko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fedetenko stuffs the takedown attempt from Bar. Bar gets slowly back to his feet.
Bar fails with the takedown
and Fedetenko counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Fedetenko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fedetenko scores with a punch to the head.
Bar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bar is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Bar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fedetenko as he jumps to the side.
Vladamir Fedetenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Bar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Bar with that takedown attempt.
Bar shoots in and drives through. Fedetenko sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A shot to the liver by Fedetenko. Beautiful body shot.
Bar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bar looks winded!
Fedetenko sends Bar crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fedetenko is motioning to the referee to let Bar up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Bar is rocked!
It looks like Jonny Bar has been cut.
Vladamir Fedetenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fedetenko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bar.
Bar is still on wobbly legs! Can Fedetenko finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bar with a poor takedown
and Fedetenko counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Bar out cold! What a finish! Fedetenko is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vladamir Fedetenko!
A relieved looking Vladamir Fedetenko thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
