Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between White Rain (ranked 177 p4p, 204 weight class) and Rob Roy (ranked 28 p4p, 32 weight class). Rain comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, White Rain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 38 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Rob Roy! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rain moves into the clinch. Rain tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rain working aggressively here.
I was talking to Rain's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Rain blocking some punches.

Roy can't find room to land a body shot as Rain controls the action.
Rain tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roy smiles and moves away.
Roy walks into a stiff left hand from Rain. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roy misses with a low kick. As Roy looks to move away, Rain throws a big counter combo but Roy just gets out of the way. Roy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Rain lands a right hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Roy misses with a left hand and Rain counters with a lovely shot to the body. Rain throws a series of punches but Roy avoids them all with ease. Rain on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like White Rain has been cut. Rain tries to clinch up and Roy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roy thinks about the counter body kick. Rain misses with a hook to the body
and Roy counters with a right hand to the body. Rain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Roy steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Rain moves out of range of the body kick from Roy.
Roy lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rain takes a step back to recover. This has been an exciting period of action! Roy throws a lazy uppercut
and Rain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rain misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roy works Rain's body with a nice hook. Rain fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roy manages to avoid it. Roy throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Roy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Roy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Roy lands with a nice body kick. Rain is breathing heavily. Roy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rain in his tracks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain tries to close the distance and clinch but Roy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rain swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rain connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roy misses with an uppercut. Rain is looking to counter punch. Rain is looking to wear down Roy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Roy circles away from the clinch attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Roy! But no joy. Rain walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Roy misses with an uppercut
and Rain counters with a good low kick that Roy was not able to check. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Roy dominated that round. The cut man is working on White Rain's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Roy walks into a stiff left hand from Rain. Roy checks a low kick from Rain. Roy misses with an uppercut. Rain throws a poor cross that misses
letting Roy counter with a right hand.
White Rain's cut is getting worse. Rain scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donk. Roy catches Rain right on the button with a cross. Rain swings widly with a right hand
and Roy counters with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Roy throws a body shot but no joy. A lazy left from Roy finds it's target. Rain misses with a hook
and Roy counters with a nice right hand that sends Rain toppling to the canvas! Rain scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Roy finish him?!
Rain is rocked! Rain closes the distance and clinches. Rain utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rain throws a punch but it's blocked by Roy. A short left from Roy. Rain misses with a short punch on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Roy. Rain lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Rain struggles to land a body shot inside as Roy controls his hands.
Roy works on Rain's body with a couple of short punches. Roy stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A head punch blocked on the inside by Rain. Roy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rain backwards.
White Rain's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Roy slows down the pace here.
Rain breaks the clinch.
Roy misses with a low kick. A counter left hand to the body from Rain misses its target. Roy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A slapping body kick lands there for Roy. White Rain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rain throws a series of punches but Roy moves out of range. Roy was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Roy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain avoids a kick to the body.
Rain swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Rain throws the left hand but Roy avoids the punch easily. Roy takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rain ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rain swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Rain scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Roy thumps Rain with a low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain scores with a jab to the head.
Rain swings for the body but Roy moves out of range.
Roy was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Roy wants to land a leg kick but Rain is out of range. Roy moves forwards but Rain connects with a nice, crisp jab. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rain!

Rob Roy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on White Rain's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Rain moves to clinch but Roy breaks away enabling Roy to counter with a crisp jab. White Rain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roy avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Roy counters with a body kick. Rain takes one to the chin there. Rain connects with a body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rain takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rain misses with a hook
and Roy counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rain! Roy lets Rain back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Oh Rain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, White Rain's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at White Rain's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rob Roy! Rob Roy looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Tosen- brave heart respect'.
