Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eemeli Lampi (ranked 201 p4p, 460 weight class) and Ali Amir (ranked 33 p4p, 59 weight class). Amir has chosen Mastodon - Gobblers of Dregs as his entrance music. Eemeli Lampi had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lampi misses with a looping left.

A little jabbing left from Amir on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lampi looks to land a right hand but Amir moved out of range.
Amir lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lampi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lampi throws the left hand but Amir avoids the punch easily.

Lampi tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice side step and Amir releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Amir takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Amir lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Eemeli Lampi has been cut.
Amir throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Amir throws a lazy right hand but Lampi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lampi keeps the fight on the outside.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Amir looking for a guillotine here but Lampi defends easily.

Amir has his foot on Lampi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lampi works his way back into a safe position though.
Lampi tries to free his leg and advance position but Amir is retaining full guard.
Amir looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lampi is one step ahead there.
Lampi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amir swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lampi swings for the body but Amir moves out of range.
Amir cracks Lampi with a right hand to the side of the head.
Amir missing with a left hand there. Lampi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Amir uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lampi.

It looked like Lampi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Lampi is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Amir's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Amir takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Lampi has a couple of punches blocked by Amir.

Amir jumps into guard, dragging Lampi to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Amir has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lampi should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Amir has tightened it up now! Lampi should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
