Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toshika Koga (ranked 24058 p4p, 24487 weight class) and TJ Stuber (ranked 378 p4p, 389 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that TJ Stuber was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toshika Koga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, TJ Stuber! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stuber's guard. Koga is pushing down on Stuber's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stuber is fighting to maintain full guard but Koga has managed to sneak the leg through. Well, if Koga is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Koga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Stuber is in trouble now - Koga has advanced to mount! Koga controlling the pace for now. Koga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stuber for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stuber wants to control but Koga is having none of it. Koga content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koga takes Stuber's back. A bit of a pause in the action here. Koga controlling the positon. Koga has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koga keeps control of the position as Stuber tries to break free.
Koga controls the position. Further stalling from Koga. Stuber trying to control the action but Koga just sinks the hooks in. Koga is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koga is hanging on to Stuber's back as he tries to escape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stuber is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Koga.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Koga. Koga continues to stall. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Toshika Koga dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Koga closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Koga lands in his opponent's guard. Koga is pushing down on Stuber's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stuber is fighting to maintain full guard but Koga has managed to sneak the leg through. Koga passes the guard and advances to mount! Koga controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koga continues to hold on tight. Koga takes Stuber's back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Koga is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. More hug and hope from Koga. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Koga is stinking the place up with his stalling. Stuber is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Koga off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Stuber rolls, trying to escape but Koga keeps control of the position.
I would not like to be Stuber right now.
Toshika Koga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Toshika Koga dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Koga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stuber was covering up waiting for the punch and Koga finishes the takedown easily into guard. Koga is stalling in the full guard. Koga passes Stuber's left leg - he's now in half guard. Koga prevents Stuber from improving his position. Koga keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Koga passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Stuber! Koga tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koga moves to the back. Stuber takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Koga has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Stuber's body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Koga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stuber can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stuber wants to escape the position.
Stuber is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Koga.

And that's the end of the fight! Toshika Koga showed his dominance in that final round. Well Koga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
