Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aljosa Medeiros (ranked 4062 p4p, 3024 weight class) and Nick Peterson (ranked 455 p4p, 377 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Medeiros might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sidequest - Chime. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aljosa Medeiros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medeiros lands a nice looking body shot.

Medeiros throws out a loose jab but Peterson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Medeiros slips a straight right by Peterson.
Medeiros shoots in looking for a takedown but Peterson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Medeiros's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Peterson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Medeiros swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That was a close round but I would say that Aljosa Medeiros will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
