Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Ship (ranked 1915 p4p, 1836 weight class) and Bobby Chunks (ranked 106 p4p, 102 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bobby Chunks was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 26 - 1, fighting out of London, Roman Ship! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Chunks! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chunks dives in and scores a takedown into Ship's guard. Chunks tries to free his leg and advance position but Ship is retaining full guard. Ship has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ship throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Chunks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ship looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chunks throws a big right hand that misses. Chunks tries to free his leg and advance position but Ship is retaining full guard. Ship has momentary wrist control but Chunks slips an elbow through the middle. Ship preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Chunks pushing down on Ship's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Chunks throwing shots but Ship is blocking nicely. Chunks is trying to work for a kimura but Ship is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ship is trying to get back to full guard. Chunks wants to pass the guard but Ship is defending well. Chunks prevents Ship from improving his position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Chunks frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Chunks throwing strikes here but Ship is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Chunks can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ship is looking to escape. Chunks lands a nice shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ship wants to hold on but Chunks pushes him away. Chunks looking to secure an arm triangle but Ship defends it well. Chunks scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Chunks throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ship because Chunks loaded up on that one. Chunks can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ship is looking to escape. Ship tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chunks dominating with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Chunks. Chunks controlling from mount. Ship sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Chunks lands with a punch from half guard. Chunks is looking to take a break and control but Ship is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chunks trying to mount his opponent but Ship defends it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chunks trying to control from half guard but Ship is working away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Chunks dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Ship shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chunks napping and manages to drive through into side control! Chunks is not content to let Ship control the position. Chunks struggling a bit here. Chunks regains half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chunks is looking to get back to full guard here but Ship has managed to pass to side control instead. Chunks struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chunks tries to get back to half guard but can't. Chunks is trying to control Ship's posture but Ship avoids it. Chunks is trying to improve his position. Ship thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ship goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Chunks has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ship but great work by Chunks. Chunks sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ship is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chunks tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Chunks controls the position. Ship is not content to let Chunks control the position. You can see the frustration on Ship's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Chunks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ship keeps working. Chunks has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Roman Ship's cut is getting worse. Ship takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bobby Chunks has got the better of the ground game so far. Chunks breaks from Ship's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Jeez, Roman Ship's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Roman Ship's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bobby Chunks! A very excited looking Bobby Chunks rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
