Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hao Qiang (ranked 1597 p4p, 1690 weight class) and Bruno Neves (ranked 90 p4p, 94 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bruno Neves was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hao Qiang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruno Neves!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neves walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Qiang with a jab.
It looks like Bruno Neves has been cut.
Neves walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Qiang fakes the leg kick and cracks Neves in the body.
A shot to the body from Qiang misses
and Neves counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Hao Qiang has been cut.
Neves shoots in but no luck this time.
Qiang jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Neves on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Neves has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Qiang scores with a hook.
Neves slips a straight right by Qiang.
Neves takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Qiang scores with a jab.
Neves misses with a double jab
and Qiang counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Qiang lands a slapping body shot.
Qiang works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Qiang misses with a hook. Neves ducked under it nicely.
Neves is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Qiang with a body shot.
Neves throws a hook but Qiang blocks it.
Qiang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Neves sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And Neves tries to counter it with a takedown but Qiang pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Qiang looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Qiang scores with a push kick.
Qiang throws a shot from downtown. Neves moves away and avoids it.
Neves looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Neves takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Qiang lets loose with a powerful body kick. Neves will feel that in the morning.
Neves moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That has opened up Bruno Neves's cut even more.
Neves takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Qiang pushes Neves up against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Qiang lands with a light punch inside.
The cut above Bruno Neves's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Qiang lands a right hand.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Qiang.
Neves looks winded!
Qiang misses with some punches.
Qiang lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Neves scores with a shoulder strike.
Qiang can't find room to land a body shot as Neves controls the action.
Qiang scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Neves has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Qiang avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Qiang lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Qiang gets through Neves's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Qiang working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Bruno Neves's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Qiang lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Neves is rocked!
Qiang swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Qiang misses with some punches.
Neves fails to pull guard.
Hao Qiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Neves.
Qiang throws a head punch that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neves drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Qiang works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Qiang lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Neves backwards.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bruno Neves's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Hao Qiang!
An out of breath Hao Qiang thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
