The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Fleshou Jr catches Motts right on the button with a cross.
Fleshou Jr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Motts. Motts circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Motts takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Motts has closed the distance and engaged Fleshou Jr in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Motts.
Fleshou Jr swings wildly with an uppercut but Motts uses good head movement to avoid it.
Motts lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

It looks like Stres Fleshou Jr has been cut.
Fleshou Jr lands with a short shot to the head.
Motts makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Fleshou Jr successfully pulls guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fleshou Jr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've been hearing good reports from Motts's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Fleshou Jr is trying to control Motts's posture but Motts avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Motts is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Fleshou Jr looks to move to half guard but instead Motts has passed into mount! Damn!

Motts wants to take his opponent's back but Fleshou Jr doesn't allow it.
Motts prevents Fleshou Jr from getting the reversal.
Fleshou Jr tries to hold on but Motts postures up.
Fleshou Jr keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fleshou Jr tries to lock up and control but Motts gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fleshou Jr bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Fleshou Jr has gone for a leg lock! Motts slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fleshou Jr's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Gregory Motts will probably get the nod.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fleshou Jr.
Motts is looking to counter punch.
Motts keeps the fight on the outside.

and Motts counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fleshou Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Motts moves away.
Motts misses with a hook. Fleshou Jr ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fleshou Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Motts misses with a right hand
and Fleshou Jr counters with a stiff right hand.
Motts misses with an uppercut.
A little jabbing left from Fleshou Jr on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Motts takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fleshou Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Motts as he jumps to the side.
Fleshou Jr shoots in for a takedown but Motts shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gregory Motts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stres Fleshou Jr.
Motts looks to land a left hand but Fleshou Jr moved out of range nicely.

A telegraphed right hand from Motts misses the target.
A jab from Fleshou Jr finds it's way through Motts's defenses.
Gregory Motts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Motts connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fleshou Jr leaves his chin hanging out and Motts seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Fleshou Jr crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

A relieved looking Gregory Motts thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
