Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peguero Jean Philippe (ranked 967 p4p, 661 weight class) and Rufus Rutger (ranked 153 p4p, 104 weight class). Philippe comes to the cage accompanied by Chant vaudou haitien. Rutger is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wardance. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutger fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Rutger has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Philippe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rutger throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Philippe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Philippe counters with a stiff right hand.
Rutger takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Rutger on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rutger loads up on a big right hand but Philippe slips the punch.
Philippe thuds a left hand into Rutger's body.

Philippe darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rutger's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Philippe before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
