Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jorlan Vieira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Isopaa Mfer!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Watson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Vieira misses the target.
Vieira swings away with a body shot that misses
and Mfer counters with a nice uppercut.
Mfer throws a body shot but no joy.
Mfer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vieira doesn't seem bothered though.
Mfer sizes up Vieira with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mfer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vieira is breathing heavily.
Mfer with a nice calf kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vieira throws an overhand right that lands on Mfer's shoulder, as Mfer tries to avoid the shot.
Vieira misses with a right hand
and Mfer counters with a nice right hand that sends Vieira toppling to the canvas! Vieira scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mfer finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mfer fakes the body blow, causing Vieira to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Vieira goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Isopaa Mfer!
After winning the bout, Isopaa Mfer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
