Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andriy Yarmalenko (ranked 1811 p4p, 3239 weight class) and Timofey Babinski (ranked 67 p4p, 154 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andriy Yarmalenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timofey Babinski! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yarmalenko keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Babinski. Nice uppercut lands for Babinski. That snapped Yarmalenko's head back.
Babinski will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Babinski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yarmalenko has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yarmalenko and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Yarmalenko thinks about countering with a head kick. Yarmalenko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Babinski defends well and Yarmalenko ends up having to push Babinski into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. It looked like Yarmalenko was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Timofey Babinski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yarmalenko has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Yarmalenko there as he acknowledges the shot. Yarmalenko shoots for a takedown but Babinski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Yarmalenko has closed the distance and engaged Babinski in a clinch.

That was a bit too telegraphed. Babinski looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Babinski throws a lazy head kick and Yarmalenko counters with a one-two to the body. Babinski misses with a straight right. Babinski misses the jab. Yarmalenko forces Babinski back against the cage and clinches. Babinski wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Babinski's face as he tries to break the clinch. Yarmalenko keeps control of Babinski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Yarmalenko manages to break the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Andriy Yarmalenko showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yarmalenko, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
