With a record of 34 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tali Ihantala!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Ihantala misses.
Ihantala uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hightower has time to react.
Hightower misses with a combination
and Ihantala counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hightower lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ihantala's sensitive parts.
Ihantala takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ihantala throws the kick towards the body but Hightower avoids it.
Ihantala lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Ihantala has cracked Hightower with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Ihantala lands another huge swinging hook and Hightower tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Hightower, before Ihantala can land any more shots!

After winning the bout, Tali Ihantala thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
