The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Franc ducks under a wild hook from Johnson.
Le Franc throwing a counter right hand but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Johnson.
Johnson blocks a head kick by Le Franc.
Le Franc chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Johnson can pounce on him.
Johnson misses with a wild combination.
An attempted straight right counter from Le Franc misses the target.
Johnson throws a big shot that misses.
Johnson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Le Franc throws the kick towards the body but Johnson avoids it.
Le Franc scores with a crisp jab that stopped Johnson in his tracks.

It looks like Kareem Johnson has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Le Franc gets a clinch.
Johnson tries to work over Le Franc's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Johnson lands an uppercut.
Johnson wants to get back to striking at distance but Le Franc won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Le Franc misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A short uppercut from Johnson.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnson misses with a body kick.
Le Franc waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson.
Johnson misses with a wild body shot.
Le Franc has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gold Samurai's Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Johnson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Le Franc throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Johnson scores with a jab to the head.
Le Franc looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range.
Guy Le Franc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johnson, as that shot connected.
Le Franc sizes up Johnson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Le Franc rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Johnson staying out of range there.
Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Le Franc connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet.
Johnson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It seemed like Johnson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Le Franc just misses with a punch to the body.
Le Franc thows a left - swing and a miss!
Johnson was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Le Franc pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Johnson back to the cage. Le Franc follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Le Franc lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Johnson is rocked!

That has opened up Kareem Johnson's cut even more.
Le Franc knocks out Johnson with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Le Franc before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Le Franc picks up the big W with a huge KO!
