Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scooter Ham (ranked 2462 p4p, 2667 weight class) and Omar Raharu (ranked 310 p4p, 327 weight class). Scooter Ham has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scooter Ham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Omar Raharu! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raharu clinches with his opponent.
Ham tries a body shot but Raharu blocks it.
Raharu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ham stalls. Ham lands a body punch in the clinch. A short right from Raharu on the inside. Raharu doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Raharu lands a hook to the side of the head. Raharu misses with a hook to the ribs.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ham pushes Raharu back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Ham blocking some punches.

A short uppercut from Ham. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ham softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Raharu lands a shot to the body. Ham manages to break the clinch.

Raharu digs a good body shot into Ham's ribs. A looping hook to the body misses from Raharu. Ham does a little dance to reset his feet. We've been told by Ham's head coaches at GWad's Playpen that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Raharu misses with a shot to the body and Ham counters with a body kick that stops Raharu in his tracks momentarily. Ham swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Raharu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ham lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A chopping leg kick lands by Ham. Raharu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Raharu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ham misses the jab. Donk. Ham catches Raharu right on the button with a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Raharu digs a good body shot into Ham's ribs. Raharu just misses with a punch to the body.
Ham tries to keep at a distance but Raharu has taken the fight into the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Ham fails to land. Raharu pushes Ham back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Ham scores with a shot to the side of Raharu's head. A nice right hand lands inside from Raharu. A head punch on the inside from Raharu fails to land. Raharu goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ham escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Raharu takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Ham scores with a hook. Raharu misses with an uppercut. Ham looks to land a left hand but Raharu moved out of range nicely. Raharu throws a counter combo. Raharu is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ham rather than just go for the knockout. Ham avoids a punch combination nicely.
Raharu misses with a looping right. Omar Raharu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ham slips under a jab from Raharu. Ham uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Raharu. Ham gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raharu looks to land a right hand but Ham moved out of range. Nice defenses there by Ham. Raharu avoids the head kick by Ham.
Raharu misses with an uppercut. Ham saw that one coming. Ham takes a swing at Raharu's ribcage but misses. Raharu let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. A jab from Raharu misses. Raharu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ham misses with a leg kick. Raharu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. This has been an exciting period of action! Raharu scores with a jab to the body. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Scooter Ham will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Raharu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ham.

A swing and a miss from Ham. Ham throws a hook but Raharu blocks it. Raharu throws out a counter right but Ham avoids it with no problem. Raharu throws a body punch but Ham moves out of range. Ham appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Raharu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ham moves away. Raharu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ham. Ham throws the left hand but Raharu avoids the punch easily.

Ham ducks under a wild hook from Raharu. Raharu checks a low kick from Ham. Raharu looks to throw the jab but Ham is out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Ham misses the target. Raharu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ham can pounce on him.

Ham misses with a wild body shot. Scooter Ham is winning the standup battle so far. Ham looks to land a left hand but Raharu moved out of range nicely. Raharu throws a body shot but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raharu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ham lands with a straight right. Raharu didn't see that one coming. Raharu ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A head kick misses from Ham. Raharu scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ham throws a lazy right hand but Raharu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ham displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Raharu throws out the jab. Ham connects with a jab. Ham throws a half hearted mid kick. Raharu let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raharu throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ham fires out a quick counter leg kick but Raharu just manages to avoid it. Ham throws a lazy right hand but Raharu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Raharu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ham moves away. Raharu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ham moves away. Raharu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ham avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ham lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Raharu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Raharu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Ham leaves Raharu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ham looks for the body kick but Raharu saw that one coming.

Ham throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Raharu misses with a body shot.
Raharu ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Raharu swings for the body but Ham moves out of range.
Ham throws a leg kick but Raharu sees it coming and checks it nicely. Raharu misses the jab. Ham fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Raharu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Raharu missing with a left hand there. Ham was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Omar Raharu will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! A big left from Raharu misses. As Raharu backs away, Ham returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Ham uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Raharu.
Ham appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Ham defending well as Raharu loads up on a big left hand. A slapping leg kick lands for Ham.
The fighters circle momentarily. Raharu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Ham looks to land a right hand but Raharu moved out of range. Ham moves out of range as Raharu strikes. Raharu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Raharu lands a glancing blow to the side of Ham's head. Raharu misses with a straight left. Ham looks to land a body kick but Raharu moved away. Raharu looks to land a left hand but Ham moved out of range nicely. Ham wants to slow Raharu down by chopping away at his legs. Raharu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ham. Raharu lands a nice shot to the body.
Raharu takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ham tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Raharu is able to avoid easily. Raharu throws a body punch but Ham moves out of range. Ham moves away from the strike by Raharu. Raharu throws a body shot but no joy. A little feinted left hand from Ham on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ham takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raharu lands an overhand right. Raharu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Raharu throws a lazy right hand but Ham sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ham is looking to counter punch. Raharu throws out a loose jab but Ham uses good head movement to avoid it. Ham keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Raharu's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Ham dodges the punch combination from Raharu.
It looked like Ham wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ham takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
And that's the end of the fight! Omar Raharu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Raharu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
