Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Silva (ranked 3741 p4p, 1438 weight class) and Tor KillsInWater (ranked 134 p4p, 57 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 24 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tor KillsInWater! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva has a takedown stuffed. KillsInWater moves into the clinch. Silva looking for a takedown. KillsInWater prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shogun Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. KillsInWater misses with a hook to the ribs.
Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but KillsInWater gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Silva has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by KillsInWater after a bit of a struggle. KillsInWater is defending well against a takedown attempt. Silva drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. KillsInWater breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Silva shoots in for a takedown but KillsInWater shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. KillsInWater connects with a high kick. KillsInWater moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. KillsInWater pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tor KillsInWater is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Silva looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has KillsInWater pinned against the cage. KillsInWater gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! KillsInWater gets in close and instigates a clinch. KillsInWater breaks the clinch.
KillsInWater looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well. KillsInWater gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Silva is trying to drag KillsInWater to the mat but KillsInWater just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Silva wants a takedown but no success here.

Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? KillsInWater is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, KillsInWater circles away and we're back to standing. KillsInWater instigates a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good body shot from KillsInWater.

KillsInWater gets through Silva's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. KillsInWater's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. KillsInWater clinches up with Silva and pushes him back against the cage. KillsInWater gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Silva.
KillsInWater breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but KillsInWater shows good takedown defense. Shogun Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. KillsInWater gets in close and instigates a clinch. KillsInWater has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Silva seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if KillsInWater can turn it around. KillsInWater lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silva backwards. Silva's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! KillsInWater gets underhooks to prevent Silva's takedown attempt.

KillsInWater tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Still in the clinch, KillsInWater scores with a nice short uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! Tor KillsInWater comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well KillsInWater has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
