Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Draconis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leopold Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Draconis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shaw wants to control from the top but Draconis keeps moving.
Draconis working for a triangle but Shaw defends it easily.
Draconis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shaw defends it easily.
Shaw has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Draconis to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Shaw is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Draconis pulls down on the head and he's put Shaw to sleep! This one is all over!
