Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Klayton King!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Carlos Gomez has been cut.
Gomez moves out of range of the leg kick from King.
A swing and a miss from King.
Gomez is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Gomez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King.
Gomez missing with a left hand there. King was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gomez throws a series of punches but King moves out of range.
King moves out of range of the body kick.
King fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gomez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gomez misses with a double jab.
King throws a nice outside leg kick.
King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gomez looks to land a combination but King avoids it well.
Carlos Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gomez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gomez was well out of range. Poor timing from King.
Gomez throws a lazy right hand but King sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gomez misses with a series of wild punches.
King lands with an overhand left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomez throws a right and a left that both miss.
King looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Gomez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
Gomez looks for the body kick but King saw that one coming.
Gomez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
King defending well as Gomez loads up on a big left hand.

King drops Gomez with a beautiful combination! Gomez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - King is looking for the KO!

Gomez is rocked!
King throws a leg kick which misses Gomez's front leg but catches the back leg as Gomez tries to avoid it.
Oh Gomez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
An inside leg kick lands from King.
King darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gomez's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles King before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Klayton King!
