Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome Spong!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to clinch there but Spong circles away.
Spong throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Carter forces Spong back against the cage and clinches.
Spong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Spong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carter takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Barry Carter has been cut.
Spong keeps the fight on the outside.
Spong swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Carter.
Carter on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Carter is rocked!
Spong closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Carter out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jerome Spong!
A very excited looking Jerome Spong rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
