The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bizihwaeile lands a really nice looking cross but Cruz seems unphased.
It looks like Ricardo Cruz has been cut.
Cruz shoots in and drives through. Bizihwaeile sprawls well.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cruz is defended easily by Bizihwaeile.
Cruz walks into a left hand.
Bizihwaeile throws a right hand that Cruz ducks under and follows up with a left that Cruz also avoids with ease.
Nice sprawl there from Bizihwaeile as Cruz shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cruz walks into a jab.
Bizihwaeile cracks Cruz with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cruz tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bizihwaeile pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cruz is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
