Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rumsfeld Shart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Riptide Young Stallion!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shart fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Young Stallion. No joy for Shart on that attempt.
And Young Stallion tries to counter it with a takedown but Shart pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Shart throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shart shoots in but Young Stallion avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Young Stallion drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Shart defends it well.
Shart throws a looping overhand right but Young Stallion ducks down to avoid it.

Young Stallion displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shart.

Young Stallion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Young Stallion wanted to stand there but Shart had control of the position.
Shart seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Young Stallion must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Shart has managed to clinch.
Shart is trying to break the clinch but Young Stallion is controlling him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Young Stallion drags the fight down to the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Shart throwing strikes but missing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Riptide Young Stallion dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The fight stays on the outside here - Shart looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shart tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Young Stallion manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Shart looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Young Stallion!
Shart throws an elbow but Young Stallion slips to the side and avoids it well.

Shart sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Young Stallion is trying desperately to improve position.
Young Stallion sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Young Stallion is bucking up trying to escape but Shart cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Young Stallion felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shart is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Young Stallion is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Young Stallion is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Shart tries to control but Young Stallion wriggling away.
Shart throws some wild stikes that Young Stallion manages to avoid easily.
Shart takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Shart has had enough of the clinch but Young Stallion keeps him there for the moment.

Young Stallion wants a takedown but no success here.
Shart jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Young Stallion walks away with a smile on his face. Shart gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Riptide Young Stallion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Young Stallion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
