Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dick Niaz (ranked 315 p4p, 623 weight class) and Senger Line (ranked 52 p4p, 90 weight class). Line has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Senger Line has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dick Niaz's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Line circles away from the clinch attempt
and Line counters with a nice low kick that buckles Niaz's knee momentarily.

Niaz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Line knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Niaz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Line has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Niaz but great work by Line.

Niaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Line walks away with a smile on his face. Niaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Niaz shoots in looking for a takedown but Line manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Niaz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Niaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Line keeps working.
Niaz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Line is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Niaz has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Line defend it? Niaz steps over the head and cranks it - Line is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Niaz!
