PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Mansour (ranked 1749 p4p, 2118 weight class) and Marcel Romanow (ranked 214 p4p, 255 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcel Romanow!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mansour throws a nice inside leg kick.
Mansour goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Romanow misses with a takedown attempt - Mansour sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Romanow shoots in for a takedown but Mansour shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mansour scores with the left hand. Romanow knows he should have avoided that one.

Seth Mansour has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcel Romanow.
