The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draconis fails with the takedown.
Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Draconis on that attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from King! But no joy.
Draconis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Draconis off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Draconis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

It looks like Tommy Draconis has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Draconis tries for a takedown but King circles away easily
and King counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Draconis out cold! What a finish! King is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lenny King! Lenny King retains his heavyweight title!
A relieved looking Lenny King thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
