Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Benoit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ty Vanorden!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanorden ducks under a wild hook from Benoit.
Benoit sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Benoit misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And Vanorden responds with a good body kick, but Benoit manages to step out the way in time.
Benoit fails with the takedown
and Vanorden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Benoit moves out of range of the body kick from Vanorden.
Vanorden slips a jab and a cross from Benoit.
Benoit rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Vanorden to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vanorden cracks Benoit with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Benoit looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vanorden finish him?
Benoit is rocked!
Benoit throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vanorden counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Benoit out cold! What a finish! Vanorden is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ty Vanorden!
