The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La Forge misses with a wild combination.
A jab lands there for La Forge.
White misses with an uppercut
and La Forge counters with a single leg into guard. White didn't expect that.
La Forge postures up and lands a big shot to White's brow.
White looking to control.
La Forge throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as White works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
La Forge got a little sloppy there for a moment and White has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, La Forge has managed to get both his arms back between White's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as White holds on and takes a little breather.
