Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braynas Hlervu (ranked 28 p4p, 83 weight class) and Davdio Branko (ranked 2 p4p, 3 weight class). Hlervu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Al Qawlu Qawlu Sawarim. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Braynas Hlervu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branko shoots in looking for a takedown. Hlervu tries to sprawl out of it but Branko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hlervu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hlervu stuffs the takedown.
Branko fails with the takedown.
Hlervu looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Braynas Hlervu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davdio Branko.

It looks like Davdio Branko has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Branko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Hlervu counters with an inside leg kick.

and Hlervu counters with a crisp right that sends Branko to the canvas! Hlervu follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
