Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Logan Justis (ranked 2975 p4p, 4123 weight class) and Royce Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 38 - 24 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Logan Justis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Royce Schmidt! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Justis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Schmidt napping and manages to drive through into side control! Schmidt seems a little lost for a moment, as Justis dominates the positioning. Schmidt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Justis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Justis moves into full mount! Justis sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Justis has hold of Schmidt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Schmidt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Justis controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schmidt is trying to escape the mount but Justis keeps good control and instead manages to take Schmidt's back.
Schmidt is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Justis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Schmidt for as long as he can get away with. Schmidt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Schmidt looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Schmidt is trying to defend against the choke here but Justis has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Justis Tightens the hold and Schmidt taps out furiously! Justis displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Logan Justis! Logan Justis gave a mention to FEEBLE FIGHTWEAR in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
