Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between The Royal Savage (ranked 3691 p4p, 2606 weight class) and Joseph OByrne (ranked 410 p4p, 323 weight class). The Royal Savage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, The Royal Savage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joseph OByrne! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage throws a predictable looking body shot
and OByrne counters with a one-two to the body. OByrne dips to his left and cracks Savage with an uppercut! Savage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but OByrne manages to avoid it. OByrne has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Savage misses with a straight left. OByrne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Savage swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Savage throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling OByrne to counter with a crisp jab.
Savage is rocked! Savage misses with a hook. Oh Savage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! OByrne tries to keep at a distance but Savage has taken the fight into the clinch. Savage seems to have got his legs back now. Savage is working OByrne over against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by OByrne. OByrne lands a left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! OByrne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
OByrne circles away from the clinch attempt and OByrne counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Savage thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but OByrne paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Savage, as that shot connected.

A combination from Savage does no damage. OByrne looks like he wants to counter punch here. Savage sends OByrne crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Savage is motioning to the referee to let OByrne up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
OByrne is rocked! OByrne tries to move into range but Savage moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. OByrne is still on wobbly legs! Can Savage finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Savage cracks OByrne with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! OByrne falls to his knees and Savage doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
