Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Tonon (ranked 506 p4p, 821 weight class) and Red Crow (ranked 76 p4p, 111 weight class). Crow has chosen Scarlet - Age of Seduction as his entrance music. Damian Tonon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 24 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damian Tonon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Red Crow!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tonon scores with a takedown into Crow's guard.
Tonon looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Crow has his hands on Tonon's head, controlling the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tonon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crow swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tonon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Crow slaps away a takedown attempt from Tonon, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Crow moves in looking to clinch but Tonon pushes him off.
Crow throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tonon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Crow moves away from the strike by Tonon.
Crow looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Tonon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tonon goes for a double leg but Crow avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Crow continues to drive forward.

Tonon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Tonon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Tonon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Crow manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Damian Tonon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Crow is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Tonon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Crow can do to turn this around?
Tonon lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Tonon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Tonon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Crow is looking to improve his position but Tonon isn't that keen on the idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've been hearing good reports from Tonon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Crow misses the shot to the body.
Tonon swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Crow connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Tonon cracks Crow with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tonon closes the distance and clinches up with Crow, looking for a takedown. Tonon pushes Crow against the cage but Crow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tonon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Crow under the eye.

Tonon tries to bum rush Crow with a series of wild strikes but Crow uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
