Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elrey Dorado (ranked 2458 p4p, 1568 weight class) and Nicholaus Strauss (ranked 318 p4p, 214 weight class). Dorado comes to the cage accompanied by MY STORY. Nicholaus Strauss has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Dorado counters with a straight right hand.
Strauss tries to clinch but Dorado moves away
and Dorado counters with a single leg into guard. Strauss didn't expect that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Strauss tries to bench press Dorado off him but Dorado keeps the position.

Strauss felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Elrey Dorado will probably get the nod.
