Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chest Mangold (ranked 1752 p4p, 2639 weight class) and Mario Santos (ranked 162 p4p, 226 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chest Mangold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mario Santos!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Santos has closed the distance and engaged Mangold in a clinch.
Santos breaks the clinch.
Nice shot by Santos.
Santos moves in looking to clinch but Mangold pushes him off.
Mangold has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Primal Concrete Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Santos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mangold counters with a nice uppercut.
Santos lands with an uppercut that bounces Mangold off the cage and back into range.
Mario Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santos tries to clinch up
and Mangold counters with a slapping leg kick.
Santos drives through and clinches with Mangold against the cage.
Mangold lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mangold misses with a body punch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Santos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mangold takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Santos misses with a few strikes there.

Santos throws a predictable looking body shot
and Mangold cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mangold moves forwards but Santos connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mangold displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Santos throws out the jab.
Mangold throwing a counter right hand but Santos manages to avoid it.
Santos lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mangold swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mangold throws the kick towards the body but Santos avoids it.
Mangold lands a jab.
Mangold has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Santos finds it's way round the side to connect with Mangold's head.
Santos misses with a wild combination.
Santos misses with an uppercut
and Santos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Santos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mangold counters with a nice body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mangold throws a body shot but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Santos walks into a stiff left hand from Mangold.
Santos is rocked!
Santos wants to clinch but Mangold slips to the side
and Mangold counters with a nice kick to the body.
Santos is still on wobbly legs! Can Mangold finish him?
Mangold fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Santos square on the jaw! Damn, Santos is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chest Mangold!
After winning the bout, Chest Mangold thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
