Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hobo Garrincha! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Destin Craven! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Craven lands an overhand right. Craven ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Garrincha swings for the body but Craven moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Garrincha misses the target. Craven swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Craven shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Garrincha napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Craven thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Garrincha gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Garrincha wants to control but Craven is keeping busy and won't allow it. Garrincha tries to get to full guard but Craven has control of the leg.  That's one minute gone in the round. Garrincha wants to get back to full guard. Craven is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Garrincha has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Craven is working away from the top position though. Craven not landing any meaningful shots this time. Craven trying to control the action but Garrincha is working from the bottom. Craven is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Craven's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Garrincha wants to sweep but no luck. Garrincha is working hard here to advance position. Craven sitting in guard here, content to control.

Garrincha pulls Craven in to control the position. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Craven working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Craven tries to free his leg and advance position but Garrincha is retaining full guard.
Garrincha is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Craven rolls with it to try and escape but Garrincha cranks on the arm and Craven is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hobo Garrincha! Hobo Garrincha retains his bantamweight title! An out of breath Hobo Garrincha thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
