The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and McDonald counters with a crisp one two that drops Diaz! McDonald thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Diaz to his feet! Diaz is in big trouble!
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McDonald scores with the left hand. Diaz knows he should have avoided that one.

Diaz is rocked!
Diaz wants to stay close but McDonald steps back to make room for something. Diaz seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from McDonald and Diaz drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
