Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Logan Justis (ranked 2465 p4p, 4944 weight class) and Micah Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 497 weight class). Hawk has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 39 - 24 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Logan Justis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 29 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Micah Hawk! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk tries to sprawl but Justis drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hawk looks winded! Hawk is looking to improve his position.
Justis controlling the action here. Justis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hawk doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Justis. Justis is looking for a kimura here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Justis slows the pace down in half guard. Hawk is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Justis pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Justis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Justis is looking for a kimura but Hawk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Justis to get the leverage. Justis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Justis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hawk for as long as he can get away with. Justis is trying to work for a kimura but Hawk is defending well.
Justis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Justis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Justis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Justis in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Justis is looking for a kimura but Hawk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Justis to get the leverage. Justis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hawk is defending against the submission attempts here by Justis.
Justis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hawk is just riding it out for now. Justis eventually gives up the hold. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hawk actively working from the bottom here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Logan Justis dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Justis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hawk being controlled for a moment. Justis has an Americana. Hawk didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Justis is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Justis hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Logan Justis! Logan Justis gave a mention to FEEBLE FIGHTWEAR in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
