Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohammed Al Din Kader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lan Phap Qui!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Din Kader gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Al Din Kader lands a left hand that snaps the head of Phap Qui backwards.

Al Din Kader escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Phap Qui moves in looking to clinch but Al Din Kader pushes him off.
Phap Qui jabs Al Din Kader to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've been told by Al Din Kader's head coaches at The Italian Job that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Phap Qui drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Phap Qui takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Donk. Al Din Kader catches Phap Qui right on the button with a cross.
Phap Qui drops his hands momentarily and Al Din Kader takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Al Din Kader moves into the clinch successfully.
Al Din Kader has Phap Qui pressed against the ropes, preventing Phap Qui from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Phap Qui is trying to maintain a safe position but Al Din Kader gets an underhook and turns Phap Qui into the ropes.

Phap Qui tries to throw a body punch but Al Din Kader avoids it by throwing Phap Qui back against the ropes.

Al Din Kader is pushing Phap Qui up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Al Din Kader pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Al Din Kader fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Phap Qui, pushing him back against the ropes.
Phap Qui is trying to push Al Din Kader away but Al Din Kader has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Mohammed Al Din Kader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Al Din Kader fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Phap Qui looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Al Din Kader forces Phap Qui back against the ropes and clinches.
Al Din Kader tries to land knees in the clinch but Phap Qui avoids the damage to the body.

Al Din Kader breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Phap Qui tried to score with a low kick but Al Din Kader checks it.

Al Din Kader cracks a nice hook into Phap Qui's ribs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Phap Qui wants to clinch up but Al Din Kader keeps it at a distance.

Al Din Kader dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Phap Qui. That did some damage!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters circle momentarily. Al Din Kader darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Al Din Kader clinches up with Phap Qui and pushes him back against the ropes.

Al Din Kader feints a jab promting Phap Qui to slip. Al Din Kader then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Phap Qui slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Al Din Kader connects with a quick right hand that sends Phap Qui tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Mohammed Al Din Kader!
A very excited looking Mohammed Al Din Kader rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
